Q: Will there be parking at the event?

A Yes there is parking provided at the Welsh Institute on a "first come first serve" basis. There are also plenty of nearby parking location within walking distance.

Q: What Safety equipment do I need to compete in the tournament?

A: All Sparring competitors must have Mouth Guards, Shin Guards, Instep Guards, Groin Guard (Males), Breast protection (for females). Helmets, body protection and gloves will be provided.

Q: What if my NPC membership is not up to date?

A: All competitors must have current membership provided through NPC for BCCMA (British Council for Chinese Martial Arts).

Q: Will refreshments be provided?

A: Refreshments are available within the Welsh Institute of Sport, however competitors are encouraged to bring water and energy drinks.

Q: Is there a cafeteria on site?

A: Yes, there is a cafeteria suitable for spectators, food can be brought to the facility.

Q: Will there be Medical Assistance on Site?

A: St Johns Ambulance will be on site for assistance with any injuries or medical issues.

Q: I want to stay overnight, is it easy to find accommodation?

A: Everyone is encouraged to book hotels well in advance as there is another major sporting event on in cardiff that weekend. We will be offering students the facility to book accommodation for the night and students will be sent details of this directly. However there are a limited number of rooms available.

Q: Do I need to book for the Cho Si celebration meal?

A: Yes, invites to the Cho Si meal have been sent to all students. Students should respond according to the instructions on the invite..
